To see the most beautiful spots in Florence you just have to walk through the streets of the historic centre. The renaissance style is present in every façade of every building, reminding you that this is the city where art had one of its best moments. Begin a walk through the centre maybe starting from the Accademia Museum, from where you can reach the Medici Chapel and explore the beautiful San Lorenzo Square, which is not changed at all through the centuries. From San Lorenzo you can reach the near Duomo, the pearl of Florence, of its religious life but also of its every day life, as the little emblems of the different crafts and trades of the city embellished a good part of the façade and the lower part of the tower. This is definitely one of the most beautiful spots in Florence.

Accademia Gallery online Reservation
With the Accademia Gallery Reservation you will have the chance to see the statue of the David, made by Michelangelo Buonarroti from 1501 and 1504. The of the David statue can be referred to the younger period of Michelangelo, as we can see from the smoothness of the marble, typical detail of the younger sculptures. In contrast with this peculiarity there is the statues “Non finiti”, the Unfinished. These Unfinished are statues that seems to be imprisoned inside the blocks of marble that contains them. Discover them by checking our site and jump the line with the Accademia Gallery Reservation.
Accademia Gallery Reservation with Italy Travels
With the Accademia Gallery Reservation you will have the chance to see the famous work of Michelangelo, the David and the Unfinished. One of the Unfinished is the Mosè. Here Michelangelo began removing the blocks of stone to make the sculpture comes out but did not finished to remove them. The artist in fact thought that the final statue was already contained inside the blocks of stone or marble with which he worked. Another symbol of this fight between the rock and the statue in it, is the statue of the Slave, which tries to get out from its cage of rock. Another one is the San Matteo, whose position of the body is in full contrast with the rock on the back. Do not miss it with the Accademia Gallery Reservation.
Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence
If you are looking for the best view of Florence, the Piazzale Michelangelo has the most beautiful view of the city. Day or night, this is my favorite place to visit in all of Florence by far. At sunset, the view is breathtaking and many times when the weather is perfect, there are performers playing live music on the steps. It is a hike up to the top is well worth it because of the scenary, but there is a city bus for those who are not interested in walking.
